Issued by the Shioji company of Osaka, Japan in the late 1950's. This car was painted green (not litho like the other versions) and was marketed by the Sears department stores. It has an automatic jack feature that raises the cars by turning a key on the right side. This allows a change of wheels, as a pair of a front and rear extra wheels were originally supplied in the box as well as a wrench to remove the 3-prong knock-offs.
This is for the car that is pictured only, no box or accessories included as I have none of them. The car looks awesome and would be a great display piece. There is some minor scratches on the base as shown from play, there are two small dents in the hood, and three of the four spinners on the tires have broken points as shown. Very rare car to find.Friction does work but sounds a little dry at times but it is over 60 years old. This item is in the category "Toys & Hobbies\Vintage & Antique Toys\Tin\Vehicles".
